Waterproof clasps in platinum-plated and 14k gold-plated steel

Clasps

Waterproof clasps in platinum-plated and 14k gold-plated steel. Clasps finish necklaces and bracelets. Match the clasp eye to the chain and jump rings and choose a size that is easy to open.

Our waterproof jewellery findings have a steel base with platinum plating or 14k gold plating. Platinum-plated steel has a light metallic finish; 14k gold-plated steel has a warm gold colour. These are coatings on steel, not solid platinum or gold. Check each product for its finish, dimensions and variants.

The findings tolerate water in everyday use, but waterproof does not mean the plating can never wear. Rinse after contact with salt water or chlorine, dry with a soft cloth and avoid applying perfume, cleaning chemicals or abrasive polish directly to the surface.
