The outer measurement of this 5mm magnetic clasp small "tube" is 6mm - where e.g. Christian Copenhagen's pendants, which have an inner measurement of 6.5mm, can easily be changed and go over the tube/clasp even if the piece of jewelry is finished.To pull the small "tube" magnet out of the clasp, a caliper is a good tool. It is inserted into the magnet's hole, then tightened and the magnet is pulled out.
