Please note that the socks will not necessarily be identical if you start them at different points in the print progression. If you want a more uniform pair, you can control the placement of stripes and colors by starting both socks at precisely the same point in the print. Mayflower Sock Yarn Universe makes knitting socks fun because you can continuously follow how the different colors and patterns develop. This gives an exciting result without the need to switch between several different yarn colors. The yarn comes in 50-gram balls with a yardage of 210 meters. For a pair of socks up to approximately size 46, you will need 2 balls. The recommended needle size is 2.5–3 mm, and the gauge is 28 stitches x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
