The Universe series consists of several different print progressions, named after planets. Each planet has its own unique print, and the different prints are available in various colour combinations. The colours are carefully selected to create beautiful transitions and patterns as you knit. You can choose between subdued, cosy colours and more vibrant, striking colours. Please note that the socks may not be identical if you start them at different points in the print progression. If you desire a more uniform pair, you can control the placement of stripes and colours by starting both socks at precisely the same point in the print. Mayflower Sock Yarn Universe makes knitting socks fun, as you can continuously follow how the different colours and patterns develop. This yields an exciting result without the need to switch between several different yarn colours. The yarn comes in 50-gram skeins with a running length of 210 meters. For a pair of socks up to approximately size 46, you will need 2 skeins. The recommended needle size is 2.5–3 mm, and the gauge is 28 stitches x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
