To avoid noticeable transitions, we recommend that you alternate between the new and the old skein for a few rows when you are nearing the end of a skein. For example, knit or crochet 1–2 rows with the new skein and then 1–2 rows with the old, and continue in this manner until the first skein is used up. This evens out the colour changes and gives a more natural result.
