Our story

Tomato started in 2003 with one simple idea: make it easier to find quality jewellery parts and hobby materials in Denmark. Today we ship across Scandinavia and worldwide every day.

We produce a large part of our sterling silver (925) ourselves and work with the Danish Precious Metal Control (Force Technology) on continuous quality control. We import directly from makers of Miyuki beads, gemstones, crystals and yarn to keep prices sharp.

What we stock

The range is built around four areas: jewellery parts in sterling silver, stainless steel and brass; beads in glass, wood, acrylic and Miyuki; genuine stones and crystals in raw, polished and drilled form; and yarn and hobby materials for knitting, crochet, embroidery and fuse beads.

On top of that come the practical things: thread, string and elastic, tools, boxes and display for the finished piece. A whole project – from material to packaging – can be gathered in one order and sent in one parcel.

Delivery, store and trade

Order before midday on a weekday and we usually pack the same day from our own warehouse in Gentofte. We ship across the Nordics and worldwide.

If you run a shop, a clinic or a workshop you can buy at trade prices, and on normal orders the price drops automatically with larger quantities. Write to us if you need a fixed assortment or a custom production.
