Mayflower Glitter is a soft sparkle yarn crafted from 85% viscose and 15% polyester, giving knitting and crochet projects a delicate, shimmering finish. Each 25 g ball has a running length of 100 metres, making it easy to incorporate into fine details, borders, and smaller projects.

Glitter is recommended for 2.5–3 mm needles with a standard tension of 30 stitches and 40 rows per 10 x 10 cm. Use the yarn on its own for crocheted decorations and accessories, or hold it together as a carry-along strand with another yarn whenever a jumper, cardigan, or beanie needs a subtle touch of sparkle.

Working Glitter together with another yarn alters both yarn weight and tension. Always knit a tension swatch using both strands and check it against your pattern before casting on. Glitter is especially well suited for stripes, ribbing, and trims where you want specific design details to catch the light.
